Wednesday, May 6th at 11:30am

Our standard days & hours of operation will resume starting this Wednesday, May 6th as well. Our standard operating days & hours are as follows:

Sunday -to- Thursday:
11:30am until 9:00pm
Friday & Saturday:
11:30am until 10:00pm

We’ve missed seeing all of you, and we are super excited to finally be able to provide you with an opportunity to get out of your homes to enjoy a meal and a drink or two with us at Circles! However, Please DO NOT get too excited. Please DO NOT spread the word. Please DO NOT plan on meeting all your friends at Circles like old times. Unfortunately, this is NOT going to be business as usual, and it’s going to remain this way – Circles ‘new normal’ – for the foreseeable future.

As we begin to resume daily operations, our #1 priority is the health and safety of our staff – whom we literally view as our family. This is immediately followed by our #2 priority, THE HEALTH AND SAFETY OF YOU, AND ALL OF OUR GUESTS. Therefore, out of an abundance of caution, WE HAVE DECIDED NOT TO OPEN ANY OF OUR INDOOR SEATING, despite the fact that, per the Governors’ orders, we are now legally allowed to open our inside seating at 25% capacity.

New Rules for Outdoor Seating: ALL OF OUR OUTDOOR SEATING WILL BE CONTROLLED. EVERYONE WILL BE ESCORTED TO THEIR SEAT BY A HOST – NOBODY WILL BE ALLOWED OUT BACK TO WALK OR WANDER AROUND. ALL ENTRANCES INTO THE BACK WILL BE BLOCKED AND CONTROLLED. DUE TO DISTANCING REQUIREMENTS, PARTY SIZES WILL BE LIMITED TO TABLES OF 6 MAX. ALL PARTIES/TABLES WILL BE SEPARATED BY SIX (6) FEET OF SPACE.

Furthermore, we are starting slow and opening with only four (out of our eight total) outdoor spaces. The four outdoor areas that we will open with on Wednesday are; (1) The Tiki Bar (2) The Waterside Café (3) The Dockside Seats behind Tiki, and (4) The Beach. The four outdoor areas that will REMAIN CLOSED for the time being are (5) The Outdoor Enclave/Fireplace (6) The Stage Dance Floor (7) The Main Bar Patio, and (8) The Main Patios overlooking the water. As we gain more and more confidence in our ability to operate safely during the coming days and weeks, we will begin to SLOWLY open up more seating areas at Circles, eventually including not just outside, but also inside bar and dining spaces as well.

In order to give you some perspective on how throttled back our outdoor seating is going to be let me give you some points of reference. On New Year’s Eve, the party we have has 4,000 people outback. For our Halloween and DrinksGiving events we have between 1,200 and 1,500 people in the outdoor spaces, and on a busy Saturday it’s not uncommon for us to have upwards of 750 people outback. We currently have the ability to seat 468 people outside if we seat all eight of our outdoor areas. However, until further notice, 148 people is the maximum capacity we will allow on property – outside only – at any one time. We will be controlling entry to the back by forming a line in the parking lot, with parties spaced 6’ apart while waiting, and we will be maintaining a system of 1 person out, 1 person in during anytime we are at our peak capacity of 148, which will make us feel very blessed if we actually get up to having 148 people here at once. We will not be taking any reservations for the time being, as everything will be first come first serve.

If we feel that the safety and well being of our staff and/or guests is threatened at any time by people not obeying social distancing protocols, then we are prepared to immediately shut down operations for that day in the middle of service until we can devise better systems to protect everyone. We will have a zero-tolerance policy for anyone not following our rules.

As far as our food and our menu is concerned…WARNING: We will be starting with an EXTREMELY limited menu. Our first menu when we reopen Wednesday will be around 12% of the size of our standard full-size menu. As you’ve come to expect from us at Circles, we will continue to source the freshest, finest ingredients locally and from around the world. However, until our supply chains stabilize we will have no choice but to source the best quality alternates that we can find, including the use of some frozen products. Please expect our menu to be small, limited, and to change frequently for the next few weeks. We hope that within the next 2-3 months we will back offering our entire menu once again, but there are lots of things out of our control when it comes to making that a reality. Keep your fingers crossed and we promise to keep you informed as we move forward through all of this together.

CALLING ALL SEWING VOLUNTEERS: We are currently using the covered patio areas for assembly line cutting, sewing, and production of CDC spec’d face masks that a team of our staff members are making with donated fabric. If you have any 100% cotton fabrics you’d like to donate to our cause, please bring them with you when you come in and give them to the outside host stand as you walk up. If you’d like to come in and cut fabric or bring in your sewing machine and help in our cause, then please call Circles Assistant Manager Craig Beltz at 330-472-3873 and he can arrange for you to come in and help. We will feed you and get you drunk for free while you are working, just as long as you can sew ok while you’re intoxicated. We are donating the masks we make to local healthcare workers, hospitals and first responders.

We are cautiously optimistic about taking the first steps to getting back to business next week. Thank you for your patience and understanding and STAY SAFE!

Sincerely,
Vic Granowicz, Chris Bodensky & Natalie Quni
